— TNA Wrestling announced on their Twitter page (www.twitter.com/tnaonline) that Shark Boy was sent home from this weekend’s slate of live events due to illness.

He is said to be suffering from the flu, so company officials felt it was best to send him home to rest

— Thursday’s episode of TNA Impact drew a 1.15 cable rating, down 7.0 percent from last week’s 1.23 number.

The show was seen by an average audience of 1.6 million viewers, down 13.7 percent from the previous week and down 13.8 percent from the previous five episodes.

The first hour drew a lackluster 1.09 going up against the conclusion of the Bulls vs. Celtics game on TNT before increasing to a 1.21 for the second hour.

The show was outdrawn by this week’s episode of ECW on Sci Fi, which pulled a 1.17 cable rating.
