NXT TV Preview (1/16): Will Kassius Ohno Bask In Keith Lee's Glory?

WWE returns to the WWE Network this evening from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida for this week’s episode of NXT TV.

WWE.com released the following preview for tonight’s show:

WWE NXT preview, Jan. 16, 2019: Will Kassius Ohno bask in Keith Lee’s glory?

A slugfest awaits the NXT Universe as Keith Lee and Kassius Ohno prepare for a seismic clash. After The Knockout Artist’s callous attack on Matt Riddle during the Jan. 2 edition of NXT, the “Limitless” Lee looks to avenge his “bro” in a sure-to-be physical contest. Also, Johnny Gargano returns for in-ring combat and Bianca Belair readies for NXT’s Women’s Title clash with Shayna Baszler.

Keith Lee and Kassius Ohno gear up for seismic clash

Kassius Ohno broke the bro code earlier this month by clobbering an unsuspecting Matt Riddle from behind with a callous sneak attack that caused the NXT Universe to respond with a no-pun-intended “Oh, no!” Not cool, bro. In response, Riddle’s pal Keith Lee called out The Knockout Artist over his heinous actions and issued a challenge that was quickly accepted.

As they gear up for a slugfest inside the yellow ropes, a few questions await these colossal forces. Can the “Limitless” Lee turn the tide and force The Knockout Artist to bask in his glory? Or will the glory belong to Ohno?

Bianca Belair prepares for NXT Women’s Title clash with Shayna Baszler

The EST of NXT has some words for The Submission Magician. After earning an opportunity to face Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT TakeOver: Phoenix, Bianca Belair prepares to formally draw the line in the sand with a message for her opponent this week. Considering her momentous victories within the past two weeks, including one over Nikki Cross, the No. 1 contender will have much to say (and/or brag about) when she hits the ring. Will her words incite a reaction from the reigning champion?

Johnny Gargano in action

Wins and championships are the only two things on Johnny Gargano’s mind this year. That much was made clear last week when he dropped NXT North American Champion Ricochet with a superkick-delivered message. As NXT TakeOver: Phoenix looms, the NXT Universe should expect Johnny Wrestling to make a case for a spot in the growing lineup for Jan. 26.

The Streets Profits ready 2019 conquest

New year, new hustle. For 2019, The Street Profits have one thing on their mind and that’s occupying the perch above the Tag Team division. But before they seize that moment, Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins will have to work on adding more numbers on the board. Safe to say, the NXT Universe is about to witness the strength of street knowledge when the Profits step inside the squared circle.

Dominik Dijakovic returns

The imposing Dominik Dijakovic returns to supply more feast for the eye. After bludgeoning the competition a few weeks back, the 6-foot-7, 270-pound Dijakovic arrives for more. Just what level of pain does the self-described “five-tool” Superstar have planned for his opponent this week? Find out this Wednesday at 8/7 C, only on WWE Network.
