Two Records Broken During Greatest Royal Rumble, Mysterio’s Gear

The Greatest Royal Rumble was bound to feature a ton of astounding records being made due to the enormous crowd in attendance for the show in the unique location of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as well as due to the fact that the show was headlined by the 50-man Royal Rumble match, which is now the largest Royal Rumble match in the history of WWE. However, two more records were officially broken during the event yesterday. Both of the new records were set during the Royal Rumble match itself. New records for the participant with the most eliminations and the longest time spent in a single Royal Rumble match were made during the huge event last night.
Daniel Bryan is now holds the record for spending the most amount of time in a Royal Rumble match. Bryan entered the match at #1 and was the 48th man to be eliminated from the match. Bryan spent 76 minutes and 14 seconds in the match, officially topping the previous record of 62 minutes and 12 seconds set by Rey Mysterio when he won the Royal Rumble match in 2006. Meanwhile, Braun Strowman not only became the winner of the first-ever 50-man Royal Rumble match, but he also set a huge record in the process. Strowman broke the record for most eliminations in a single Royal Rumble mach with 13 in total. Roman Reigns previously held the record when he scored 12 eliminations in the 2014 Royal Rumble match.

One of the most impressive participants involved in the Greatest Royal Rumble pay-per-view yesterday was Rey Mysterio. Mysterio appeared as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble match, and he managed to stay in the match for over twenty minutes. After he was eliminated from the match, WWE cameras caught up with Mysterio to ask him about his experience in the match in front of the enormous crowd in Jeddah. During the brief interview, Rey Mysterio revealed some information about the gear that he had made for the event.
