In what appears to be a plug for the upcoming Fighting With My Family Movie based on Paige and her family, Zelina Vega took a shot at Paige for being removed as SmackDown LIVE General Manager on last Tuesday night’s episode of SmackDown LIVE. As previously reported, SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon said that while Paige would no longer be GM of the brand, she isn’t going anywhere and will have a new yet-to-be-decided role.
Vega posted the tweet below, noting that Paige couldn’t even “play [herself] in her own movie.” Vega plays AJ Lee in the film, while Florence Pugh stars as Paige:
Aww.. @RealPaigeWWE soooo sorry to hear you aren’t @WWE #SDLive general manager anymore.. I mean, you couldn’t even make it playing yourself in your own movie so, I didn’t exactly have high hopes for you. It’s okay though! I make the movie #FightingWithMyFamily great 😉

Paige would then take to Twitter and respond to the tweet from Zelina Vega, which knocked Paige for losing her SmackDown LIVE General Manager duties on last Tuesday night’s show. As previously reported, SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon revealed on last Tuesday night’s show that Paige has been relieved of her GM job due to the new “fresh start” on RAW & SmackDown LIVE, which will see Shane, Vince McMahon, Triple H & Stephanie McMahon run things without Commissioners & General Managers. Shane praised Paige for her work as GM and noted that she will remain on SmackDown LIVE in a new role. That role has not been announced but Paige is still retired from in-ring competition due to her neck.

That’s cute. Who are you again? https://t.co/4cFdIiOSKa
