There’s more than person hyped about the SmackDown Women’s Championship triple-threat tables, ladders and chairs match between Charlotte Flair, Asuka and Becky Lynch on Sunday, but definitely count WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair in that group.
Flair took the time to tweet out complimentary comments to both Charlotte and Asuka about Tuesday’s SmackDown main event match from Las Vegas that ended in an Asuka victory when the Queen attacked the Empress of Tomorrow with a kendo stick. Although it wasn’t quite on the level of their WrestleMania 34 match that ended Asuka’s streak, it was certainly a fantastic match to continue the build for Sunday’s pay-per-view in San Jose. It ended with Asuka taking the kendo stick and waylaying both Charlotte and The Man, who was sitting ringside to scout her competitors. Here’s what Flair tweeted out on Wednesday to congratulate both Flair and Asuka on an excellent performance:
All I Can Tell You Is That Queen Charlotte And The Empress Asuka’s Match Lived Up To Everything And More. Congratulations On Your Success And A GREAT Match. Cannot Wait For TLC! WOOOOO! @MsCharlotteWWE @WWEAsuka pic.twitter.com/SJqWN0Fn8W
