New Trademarks Discovered For New All Elite Wrestling Promotion

2019 could be a very interesting time to be a fan of pro wrestling. It was common knowledge for a while that the members of The Elite would be free agents around this time of the year. Fans wondered if Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, Cody Rhodes, and so on would keep their current busy independent schedules or they would be coming to WWE. However, it looks like the boys have chosen to go in a completely different direction. The Elite reportedly turned down WWE deals worth millions not too long ago, and they are now heavily rumored to be in the process of creating their very own wrestling promotion. The group members are believed to be introducing All Elite Wrestling to the world at some point next year.
All Elite Wrestling could provide the potential shakeup that some wrestling fans feel that the industry needs if it does indeed come to fruition. The latest evidence pointing the AEW’s eventual arrival comes in the form of a new trademark that was registered. PWInsider recently learned that the LLC for All Elite Wrestling just registered the name and logo for an event called “Fighting For the Fallen.” It is unclear what this event will be used for exactly, but the trademark is listed for wrestling, iPPV, music, and merchandising rights. Fans have assumed that the show will likely be some sort of charity wrestling event, much like WWE’s annual Tribute to the Troops events. The logo for the future show has been posted down below:

This is not the first trademark that has been detected for the rumored upstart wrestling promotion, and it likely won’t be the last one either. Previous trademarks that have been found for AEW include “All Out,” “Double or Nothing,” “Tuesday Night Dynamite,” and “All Elite Wrestling/AEW.” Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks will presumably confirm that the promotion is being assembled at some point in early 2019, so it will definitely be interesting to see what lies ahead for The Elite as they take on this bold new venture. The group had success running the All In show earlier this year, so hopefully the project ends up going well for them. Be sure to stay tuned for all of the latest updates on the planned debut of All Elite Wrestling.
