Dabbawalas Embracing Entrepreneurship, Will Deliver Organic Vegetables To Mumbai’s Doorstep

Dabbawalas in Mumbai have successfully delivered lunches across the city for many decades now – everyday in every season. They ensure nobody goes hungry for the day by being there on time.

The dabbawalas are all set now to launch their own start-up business – in the food processing sector. They will now supply organic vegetables for those who prefer their veggies pesticide-free. A representative of the president of the Mumbai dabbawalas Ritesh Andre, recently revealed plans for their business and said the start-up will supply organic produce.
