Another Cover Up? UP Govt To Withdraw Cases Against Leaders Who Gave Communally Charged Hate Speeches

After initiating the process to withdraw 131 cases related to the series of riots in Muzaffarnagar and Shamli in 2013, the Uttar Pradesh government led by Yogi Adityanath has now moved to shield more BJP leaders from related cases.

The UP government has decided to drop two other cases of hate speeches involving Sadhvi Prachi, former Union Minister and BJP MP Sanjeev Balyan, controversial BJP MLA Sangeet Som and others.
