Jurgen Klopp has picked out Jordan Henderson as a standout performer as Liverpool drew 0-0 against Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The much-anticipated clash against the German champions failed to live up to expectations as the two sides battled out a stalemate that was low on entertainment.
Liverpool kept a clean sheet without Virgil van Dijk, who has been one of their top performers this season, and Klopp thinks Jordan Henderson did a particularly good job in there.
Klopp told BT Sport: “First of all a clean sheet without the big man [Virgil Van Dijk], probably not a lot of people would have expected that so that was very good.
“Defending in general was very good and of course, Hendo did a brilliant job in there, it was unbelievable how many balls he won back and stuff like that, it was a fantastic game from him.
“But that’s actually what we expect [from him] as well.”
