All Private Cars May Be Pulled Off Road From November 1 If Air Pollution Worsens In Delhi

As the national capital’s air is set to turn more toxic this week and the week after Diwali, the government is taking fast-paced decisions to somehow control air pollution. In the most recent proposal, the use of private vehicles may be stopped in Delhi of the pollution situation gets worse. It has reached severe levels in recent days.

Toxic smog has started to envelope vast swathes of the northern part of the country, including Delhi, as it does each year when winter approaches and farmers burn off the residue of crops.
