Another Mass Suicide, This Time Jalandhar Rocked As Four Of A Family Kill Themselves

Four members of a family allegedly committed suicide after consuming poisonous substance in Jalandhar and called up neighbour the neighbour before doing it.

The news of families committing suicides has surfaced several times in recent months. For instance, the massive suicide in Burari, Delhi last year in which 11 members of a family had committed suicide had rocked the entire country. Last year, a family in Rajasthan had also committed to meet God and recently, four members of a family had committed suicide by hanging in Andhra Pradesh’s Nandikotkur in March.

The people who died were resident of Manko village and were identified as Bakhshinderjit Kaur (45), her three children Jaspreet Singh (18), Balpreet Kaur (14) and Harmanjit Singh (12), inspector Sarabjit Singh, Adampur police station said.
