Busted! Convicts Were Paying Rs 8 Lakh A Month For VIP Rooms, 12K For Cigarettes In Ajmer Jail

The rich and the powerful always have it easy in our world and a recent investigation by the Anti-Corruption Bureau has found just that from Rajasthan’s Ajmer jail.

When a convict is sent to jail, he is expected to serve his term as a punishment for the crime that he committed but, as they say, if you have money in your pocket you can get anything done in India. Several of those who could afford were provided banned products inside the jail and were also given special treatment.
