Moussa Sissoko has ignited speculation over both his and Mauricio Pochettino‘s Tottenham futures.
Sissoko has somehow emerged as an integral member of a Tottenham side that has reached a Champions League final this season.
He has two years remaining on his contract in north London, with no suggestion that previous links to the likes of Fenerbahce will be revisited.
Pochettino’s future is a little more uncertain, however, with the manager himself stopping just short of delivering an ultimatum to the board over showing more ambition in the transfer market.
He is one of the favourites to replace Massimiliano Allegri at Juventus, with any departure potentially diminishing the importance of Sissoko.
When asked by Canal Football Club whether his future depended on Pochettino staying, Sissoko replied: “Not necessarily, I don’t know.
“At the end of the season, it could be that they have a new project, that a new coach comes, and he doesn’t count on me, he wants to sell me.
“Many different things could happen. But for the moment I feel good there, I am happy there. And in my head I have no thoughts of leaving.”
