Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has explained why he would rather sell Manchester United target Tanguy Ndombele to Juventus.
Ndombele is likely to be one of Europe’s most-coveted players this summer, with the midfielder having enjoyed a fine season.
Pep Guardiola spoke fondly of the 22-year-old after Lyon held Manchester City to a 2-2 draw in the Champions League group stages.
Ndombele and midfield partner Hossem Aouar gave the world a glimpse of the future in that game, and Aulas suggests that plenty liked what they saw.
“Are Juventus after Ndombele? Yes it’s true. But PSG are also there, Manchester United and City too,” Aulas said this week.
“Honestly, I would like to see Ndombele at Juventus with Pjanic, a player that broke out at Lyon and a player I am still very attached to.
“We will see what happens.
“In the sale of a player, the economic parameters are the priority.
“But if offers are equal, I would offer him to (Juventus president) Andrea Agnelli.”
