MAN UNITED WANT MANOLAS
We have been told so many times that Kostas Manolas is coming to the Premier League that we are sighing a little as we write this, but it seems that Kostas Manolas might be coming to the Premier League to play for Manchester United, who have apparently told Roma they are very interested.
The problem? PSG are also interested as Manolas as a modest release clause of just £32.4m. And he does not have the luxury of waiting to see who wins their now-mouthwatering Champions League clash.
LIVERPOOL TO SHED TRIO IN JANUARY?
They have played only 452 minutes of football in total this season so it’s little wonder that there could be moves for Dominic Solanke, Nathaniel Clyne and Alberto Moreno this January. The first man on that list will be the first out – Solanke has actually undergone a medical at Crystal Palace after interest from Brighton, Huddersfield, Bournemouth and Rangers was rebuffed. The right choice, we think.
Elsewhere, Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock has confirmed an interest in right-back Clyne, though he has featured in Liverpool’s last four Premier League games so could be retained. Moreno is unlikely to get the same consideration after his comments last week; Marseille are said to be interested but the Spaniard prefers to return to Spain.
