WWE has been advertising Brock Lesnar for tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW for the past several weeks, even promoting a face-to-face altercation with Roman Reigns, the official #1 contender to the WWE Universal Championship. But after all that, neither the “Beast Incarnate” nor his advocate Paul Heyman were present on this week’s show.
Reigns took to the ring and, despite a hot California crowd largely booing him out of the building, cut a scathing promo on Brock Lesnar calling him a “bitch” for only showing up on WWE television when he feels like making a payday. He even claimed that Lesnar was in Las Vegas for last night’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, but chose to spend his time taking photos with Dana White instead of making an appearance for the fans.
The WrestleMania #1 contender called out Lesnar for no-showing tonight’s Monday Night RAW, which is obviously part of the story. We’re looking into it, but it’s possible Lesnar wasn’t even in Las Vegas this weekend if the plan all along was to run this angle, but that would require Dana White playing along and posting a photo of the two on Twitter just to help WWE further a story. We’ll keep you posted as more information comes in.
