Former Newcastle United striker Solomon Rondon has completed his move to Everton on a free transfer, the club have confirmed.
The striker previously played under Rafa Benitez at Newcastle United during the 2018/19 campaign.
Rondon shone for them that season as he bagged eleven goals and provided seven assists from his 32 outings in the Premier League.

He left the club at the end of the season as he joined Dalian Professional. It was there where he reunited with Benitez the first time, as the player joined his former manager in China.
Rondon had a spell on loan at CSKA Moscow last term and he has been linked with Everton over the past few weeks.
The move came to fruition on deadline day as the Toffees announced that the striker has joined them on a free transfer.
In his first interview as an Everton player, Rondon said that he was excited to work with Benitez again:
“I’m really glad to be back in the Premier League. It’s a competition I enjoyed playing in and where I felt the fans’ support in every game.
“Defending the colours of a club with a history as rich as Everton’s fills me with pride. I can’t wait to pull on the shirt and be reunited with Rafa Benítez, a coach who has changed the way I understand the game. I’m really grateful for the faith he’s shown in me.”

The forward spent last season in France with PSG. For them, he scored 13 times in Ligue 1 from his 26 appearances.
